What is this Giant Spider Doing in Ocean County?
If you are traveling along Route 9 in Tuckerton then you have no doubt seen the "giant spider". The huge arachnid is perched high atop the Tucker's Island Lighthouse at the Historic Tuckerton Seaport.
The display is part of getting the Seaport ready for Halloween and the Annual Haunted Seaport. The Haunted Seaport transforms the grounds into a Halloween experience not to be missed! Fun for the whole family.
"Pirates and Sea Captains long lost at sea will stroll the Seaport’s boardwalk for a night of screams. Climb aboard a hayride for a ghostly howling good time through the Haunted Woods. Be on the lookout for the Jersey Devil"
Haunted Seaport will take place on Thursday, October 18, Friday, October 19, and Saturday, October 20, and Sunday, October 21 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. each night.
There will be kid-friendly activities with no ghouls in their "non-scary" Family Fun Activity Area with pumpkin slime, crafts, and more.
Photo Ops While You Wait include getting locked in the stocks and dying laughing in the coffin. Post your pics to their FaceBook page!
