I enjoy good TV shows, like many of you do.  So you understand how exciting this time of year is.  The shows we've been waiting for, for many months, are returning to our living rooms.  It's almost like we'll get to see old friends who have been out of town for a while.

I hope you're planning on watching "This Is Us" this season.  The first new episode airs tonight on NBC.  If you have never seen it, perhaps you could record tonight's episode, then go back and stream all of last season.  It's such a beautifully done show, I promise you won't feel you're wasting your time.  And then you'll be able to join in all the water cooler conversations at your work place.  It's a show that everyone seems to be talking about...for good reason.

Another show I have loved for years is "The Big Bang Theory."  It's a comedy that usually makes me laugh out loud every episode.  The writing is sharp, the acting is great, and each of the characters is quirky and lovable in their own way.  One of the lead characters is the brainy Dr. Sheldon Cooper played by Jim Parsons.

You'll hear Parsons voice if you check out "Young Sheldon" which premiered last night on CBS.  It's the story of Sheldon as a brilliant 9 year old who enters high school.  The "fish out of water" storyline was funny yet touching.  I think this is going to be a hit.

If you're a fan of Grey's Anatomy, you'll see that  premiere on Thursday.  And then an hour later you might want to check out the reboot of "Will & Grace" which is back after leaving the airwaves in 2006.

Get the popcorn ready!  What shows are you most looking forward to watching this season?  What are your thoughts on any of the new shows that have already debuted?
