Atlanta, GA made headlines this week when the whole metropolitan area was literally brought to a grinding halt by ice, snow, and poor planning and road maintenance. The evolution of the gridlock actually developing is amazing to watch. Over a matter of about 25 minutes, the traffic map went from a free-flowing green to stand-still red.
