I had an opportunity of a lifetime this past weekend, when I was able to ride along with the world renowned U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team at the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Open House and Air Show.

For the many thousands of families who went this past Saturday and Sunday, you know how amazing the demonstrations, exhibits, and performances were from the ground. But from above, it was a whole different kind of amazing.

The camaraderie and teamwork of the Golden Knights is clear in everything that they do, even including the guests who were riding along in their rituals and customs.

So step inside the Golden Knights plane with me, and take a look at what things were like from above:

I have to pass along my enormous thanks to the U.S. Army Golden Knights and the public relations team at the Joint Base for allowing me to have this amazing experience!
