A friend of mine was just commenting this past weekend that some of her flowers are starting to bloom already, thanks to the unseasonably warm weather that we've been experiencing lately. While nice to look at, it comes with a big drawback - an early start to allergy season!

I don't know about you, but for the last week and change my sinuses have felt like they're about ready to explode.

According to WebMD, New Jersey is currently experiencing moderate to severe allergy activity.

I take an over the counter allergy medication, and add in a decongestant when it gets bad, but it seems like even that hasn't been helping as much as I'd like in the last week.

I've written before about using a Neti Pot which, while kind of gross when you think about it, really does seem to help by flushing all of the pollen that has built up throughout the day out of your sinuses.

And of course it's only March 1st.

Unfortunately, folks, it doesn't get better from here!

How have your allergies been lately? Has the warm weather seemed to kickstart your seasonal sensitivities? Comment below and let us know!
