Wall Brush Fire Contained

State forest fire officials say a 10 acre brush fire reported this afternoon in Wall Township is contained.

Assistant Division Warden John Rieth says the fire was called in at around 2:30 this afternoon and burned 6 acres near School House road near the Garden State Parkway. 17 fire fighters, 4 fire trucks and bulldozers are at the scene until the fire is declared under control.

Reith says the brush fire poses no threat to structures.
