The two-story, all-girls school would be built on Cross Street, by the Township's border with Lakewood. The variance being sought is for 7.5 acres zoned for residential, single-family homes.

According to the Asbury Park Press, several residents expressed concerns about the impact the school could have on septic and well systems and on traffic.

The Jackson Zoning Board has scheduled the next hearing on the issue for November 20th, to give the school's engineers more time to address the concerns.
