Vote Delayed on Federal Sandy Emergency Aid Package

The U.S. Senate delays action on the $60 billion emergency aid package for superstorm sandy victims. Reports say, Senate Republicans and Democrats want more time to consider several amendments to the Sandy Emergency Aid package that added billions of dollars for mitigation projects and disasters unrelated to the Superstorm. The Senate and House could be voting on a scaled down emergency aid package in a few days.
