Here's a way to save some money while having a good day out tomorrow.  You can gain free admission to one of 25 museums in New Jersey that are participating in Smithsonian's Museum Day.

I've done this in the past and it's a wonderful way to visit an old favorite spot, like the Intrepid or Independence Seaport Museums OR you can discover something new.  Did you know there's a Cranberry and Blueberry Museum in Browns Mills?  Or that you can learn about glass blowing at WheatonArts in Millville?   You can search for museums by type or location at Smithsonian.com/museumday.  That's also where you can download a Museum Day ticket.  Each ticket grants the ticket holder, and one guest, free access to any participating museum tomorrow.    One ticket is permitted per email address.   You MUST get your ticket in advance as some places only offer a limited number of freebies, so make sure you have a ticket before you hit the road!

What's your favorite museum in New Jersey?  Are there any lesser-known museums or historical sites that you would recommend?
