Veteran Asbury Park Police Officer Arrested

A veteran Asbury Park police officer is out on $50-thousand dollars bail after being

arrested and charged with Official Misconduct this week. According to various news media sources, 45-year-old Keith German of Tinton Falls was reportedly taken into custody at his home while on vacation.

NJ.com reported that anonymous sources said his arrest was tied to dozens of others as part of a gang sweep. German served on the force for 16 years and even served as a PAL basketball coach.
