The pink trash cans have become incredibly popular and it seems everyone wants one.  I agree, I love them!

SHOUT OUT to Pine Beach!  It's Pine Beach, the only town in Ocean County to use these pink trash cans with the symbol of Breast Cancer Awareness.  The story behind the pink trash cans is a cute one.  The Mayor's daughter was on vacation and saw these awesome trash cans.  She loved them, told Dad and he did something about it.  He brought them to Pine Beach for a great cause.  It's all about charity and when you pay for one of these trash cans you can choose where the money goes: either cancer research or Pine Beach's Fire Company, or the donation could be split between two.  Either way it's a win-win for Pine Beach and their residents.  I love this!

Mayor Lawrence Cunio told me there are only 5 left but he hopes to get another bundle of them in soon.

Hopefully soon we'll see these pink trash cans all over Ocean County.
