Unveiling The Monmouth Vs. Ocean Mascot Madness Winner

In our previous installment of Mascot Madness 2018, we announced the Toms River North Mariners as the winners of the annual Ocean County tournament.

As is tradition, it was then time to pit the Toms River North Mariners against the Howell Rebels, the winners of the Monmouth County tournament, which was conducted by our sister station 94.3 The Point in tandem with our tournament.

After a full week of voting, one thing became abundantly clear:

Nothing can compare to Ocean County pride!

For the 3rd consecutive year, Ocean County came out on top, and by far! Here's what the final vote looked like:

And again, it wasn't even close.

In 2016, the Toms River East Raiders beat the Howell Rebels in similar fashion, and last year the TR South Indians ransacked the Ocean Township Spartans.

For the 3rd year in a row, not only does a Toms River mascot bring home the whole shebang for Ocean County, but it was once again a total blowout.

So, congratulations to us! We've shown time and again that Ocean County will come together when the pressure is on to prove that our community support is unbeatable!
