The Ocean County Prosecutors office says 54-year-old Brian Nogiewich is also accused of accepting money for projects that he either failed to begin or complete between 04/28/12 and 10/22/12 and provided false information on his original Home Improvement Contractor Application to the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General Division of Consumer Affairs.

Detectives Lindsay Llauget, Mark Malinowski and Amanda O'Mara, of the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office Special Investigations Unit, arrested Mr. Nogiewich at his home and charged him with 3rd Degree Theft by Deception, 3rd Degree Tampering with Public Records and 4th Degree Unregistered Home Improvement Contracting. The Ocean County Department of Consumer Affairs and the Toms River Police Department also provided assistance.

Nogiewich is free on $25, 000 dollars bail, no 10%.

Investigators are urging anyone who may have utilized Nogiewich for contracting work or who has information about him should contact Detective Lindsay Llauget at 732-929-2027 ext. 3462.
