Two Suspects Connected to Brick Township Bank Heist Probe

Two arrests in Brick within 12 hours are tied to Wednesday’s robbery of an OceanFirst Bank branch in the township. However, the investigation isn’t over and police are looking for witnesses.

Sean Tetesco, 28, was charged with robbery about 12:30 AM, say township police, based on information developed by local investigators and the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Red Bank.

Tetesco’s bail in Ocean County Superior Court was set at $100,000, with no option for release on payment of 10 percent.

At about 12:30 this afternoon, Richard Bartlinksi was apprehended on unrelated charges at a home on Lancaster Road. Investigators say they recovered evidence related to the heist at the time of his arrest.

Police say that no weapon was displayed during the robbery at about 3:30 PM Wednesday, and the suspect had taken the money and run from the Adamston Road branch toward Greenwood Lane.

He was described as a white male, about 20 to 30 years of age, standing between 5’8″ and 5’11″, and weighing about 175 pounds. His clothing was described as a dark-colored baseball cap, dark sunglasses, brown long-sleeved tee shirt and blue pants.

Police are now asking anyone who saw the robbery, or who has information about it to reach Brick PD Detective James Burgess at 732-262-1115, or the Detective Bureau main line at 732-262-1120.
