Investigators are still searching for two men accused of violently robbing a man on Thursday.

Shakee Jackson, 20, of Brick, and an unidentified suspect allegedly mugged a 28-year-old Lakewood man on June 25.

There is a $10,000 warrant active for Jackson's arrest.

According to Officer Jonathan Pederson, the victim said he was speaking to Jackson and another man near Laurel Avenue when one suddenly bashed him in the head and robbed him of approximately $3,000.

It isn't known what type of instrument was used in the beating.

Investigation revealed the two fled on foot and got into a white car that was later found parked outside a home on Laurel Avenue.
