Where there's bad news, it's always nice when good news follows. And following directly on the heels of the announcement of the closing of one Ocean County restaurant, we have news about two new eateries set to open in the immediate future.

Earlier today we told you about this week's closure of Pub 1850 in the Silverton section of Toms River.

While that's sure to disappoint many Ocean County restaurant goers, two new dining options are coming right to the heart of the area practically any day now.

First, I have to issue a mea culpa about my previous article, "Things You Don't See In NJ Anymore". In the list, I included Roy Rogers, which was once ubiquitous in New Jersey, but these days it's seemed like it's pretty much only found at rest stops and the standalone Pine Beach location.

Well, good news for fans of Roy's - they're prepping a brand new location right on Brick Blvd. Today, I reached out to a company official, who assured me that the new location, "...will be opening within the next few weeks".

In addition, the former Tiffany's location on Route 37 in Toms River will be flipping to a Mexican theme.

Tio Juan's Margaritas, which is a regional chain with over two dozen outlets, will be making its first foray into the Garden State.

As of right now, the official word is that Tio Juan's will be opening, "Spring 2016", but of course we'll keep you updated when a specific target date is revealed.

It's quite literally a case of one door closing and two more opening in its place!
