23-year old Eugene Storm of Pennsylvania and 30-year old George Walker of New York are facing a number of charges following their arrest for their alleged roles in the shooting of a male at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City around 2:30 am Sunday.

Police responded to the valet area following reports of gunfire and found the shooting victim, 25-year old Xavier Smith of New York suffering from a gunshot wound on Pacific Avenue.

Smith was transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, suffering from serious injuries but in stable condition.

The quick response and investigation led to the arrests of Storm who was found on Albion Place after tossing his jacket nearby with a handgun inside.

Walker was arrested upon his return to the scene of the crime.

Both Storm and Walker face two counts each for aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, conspiracy and tampering with evidence with their bail set at $150,000.00.

Additionally Storm also faces charges for possession of hollow-point ammunition.
