Two killed in separate motorcycle crashes in Monmouth County

Two motorcyclists have died in separate accidents in Monmouth County over the weekend, according to authorities.

Middletown police said an adult male crashed for unknown reasons on West Front Street Sunday afternoon, around 2:40 p.m., according to NJ Advance Media. No other vehicles were involved in the accident. The victim's name was being withheld pending family notification.

On Saturday afternoon, 22-year-old Steven Roldan of Long Branch failed to navigate a turn on Nomoco Road in Freehold around 1:15 p.m, and struck a tree and died, Freehold Patrolman Joseph Winowski told NJ Advance Media.

Both crashes remain under investigation.
