Two Fatalities On Toms River Roads Over The Weekend
Two people died in accidents in Toms River over the weekend.
50-year-old Charles Shaw of Bladenboro, North Carolina was killed after being hit by a car while crossing Route 37 near Douglass Avenue. He was struck by a 2004 Mazda driven by 20-year-old Mark Montesano of Toms River. No word on any charges against him.
Thee hours later Joseph Nero, 23, of Brick man died after crashing his motorcycle into a parked car on New Hampshire Avenue. He was traveling northbound on New Hampshire Avenue with two other cyclists from Lakewood.
Nero was airlifted to Jersey Shore Medical Center, where he died from his injuries according to the LakewoodScoop.com.
