Two crashes in one hour in Toms River
Two serious crashes that occurred within an hour of each other on the eastern and western ends n Toms River keep the highway moving gingerly, single file, during investigations.

Police say an SUV and a motorcycle collided about 3:30 PM on Fischer Boulevard near Merrimac Drive.
On the TRPD Facebook page, the motorcyclist is described as sustaining multiple injuries and in need of hospitalization.
A Jeep and an all-terrain vehicle collided at about 4:30 PM on Route 37 at Northampton Boulevard.
Police said the ATV driver suffered multiple injuries and is to be hospitalized at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.
No identities have been disclosed.
