The third drug raid in five days by Ocean County investigators yields 210 bags of heroin and brings a roster of charges against two suspects in Toms River.

Shondale Latimer, 36, and Christina Rubino, 32, were arrested after the Wednesday warrant search of their Walnut Street apartment. Detectives with the Special Operations Group under County Prosecutor Marlene Lynch Ford and Toms River Police also seized Suboxone and Oxycodone, marijuana, hypodermic syringes, $670 cash and a 1996 Nissan Maxima that they say was used to peddle the drugs.

Latimer was placed in the Ocean County Jail in Toms River with bail set at $40,000, cash only. Rubino was released on a summons. Nine suspects have been collared since December 17th in a continuing probe of drug activity in the county. There have been 11 drug searches and 22 arrests in the county since August 24.

Both are charged with possession of heroin under a half-ounce with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, possession of a controlled dangerous substance (heroin) with intent to distribute within 100 feet of a school, possession of a controlled dangerous substance (Suboxone and Oxycodone), possession of marijuana and possession of hypodermic syringes.

Members of the Toms River PD Emergency Services unit and a township K-9 team also took part in the search.
