Taquan Harris, 22, of Newark, and Nafee Cotman, 18, of Irvington, face charges of murder, felony murder, robbery, and burglary, along with weapons counts, in connection with the 23-year-old's May 2 death in the off-campus Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity house where he lived, according to Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray.

Harris is still outside the grip of the law. Colman was apprehended without incident in Irvington, and his bail was set at $1,000,000, Murray said in a joint statement with Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose.

Investigators determined that Micalizzi a Dean's List junior in mechanical engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Techonolgy, was shot at about 3:15 AM as the theft unfolded.

The investigation remains open. The Essex County Sheriff's Crimestoppers Program is offering up to $10,000 for information leading to arrests and convictions, and NJIT has added another $10,000 to the reward.

Anyone who has information relevant to the case is urged to contact the Essex County Prosecutor's Homicide-Major Crimes Task Force through its tip line, 1-877-TIPS-4-EC or 1-877-847-7432.

Visitation for Micalizzi takes place Monday and Tuesday at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home in Freehold. Interment takes place Wednesday.
