Two Bayville 17 year olds were arrested for breaking and entering a business Thursday night in Toms River.

Toms River Police were alerted by a citizen that he observed two males enter a fenced in area near the Exonn station between Rt. 37 and Rt. 166.

Around 10 p.m., Officer Shan Ruiz arrived to hear glass breaking and witnessed  two suspects taking turns throwing pieces of concrete at the front door. The suspects were observed breaking the door and entering the business.

Police Chief Mike Mastronardy says two officers were approaching the business when the two suspects exited and then fled on foot.

One suspect was apprehended on Rt. 166 and the other was caught on North Gateway.  Both were charged with juvenile complaints of burglary, criminal mischief and then released to their parents.
