Two Accidents In Toms River Injure Several

Two accidents in Toms River on Tuesday send several people to the hospital.

Five people were injured in a crash at the intersection of Routes 70 and 9 in Toms River.  It happened yesterday afternoon around 2:30.  The victims had to be extricated from their vehicles.  No word on their conditions.  The incident is under investigation.

Meanwhile, an accident involving an overturned mini-van in at the intersection of Whitter and Washington Street.sends one woman to the hospital.  Two other vehicles were involved in the crash.  No other injuries were reported.
