With Kidabaloo now only days away, with the big event this Saturday (Feb 17), when the kids are done with all the fun at Convention Hall in Asbury Park, why not stick around the area and make a day out of it?

Here are the top 5 things to do with the whole family this Saturday!

  • 1

    Start at Kidabaloo

This one is kind of obvious, isn't it? I mean, it's right there in the title!

The fun starts at Noon at Convention Hall, and there will be plenty to do there; with entertainment, arts & crafts, and of course our special guest, Shawn Ryan Fox from "Henry Danger"!

If you grab your tickets ahead of time, don't forget that parents get in free!

    Play Some Pinball

I make no secret of my love for Asbury Park's Silverball Museum.

And I'm clearly not the only one, considering the arcade's recent win for the #1 Attraction In New Jersey.

Right on the boardwalk just feet away from Convention Hall, a few hours of flipping will definitely tire the kids out!

Go Ice Skating At The Asbury Hotel

Just a quick walk a block away, the now world renowned Asbury Hotel has one of the most unique family activities at the whole Shore with their outdoor ice skating rink!

With ice skating going until 8:00 on Saturday night, there will be plenty of time for your future Olympians to start practicing their moves!

Pick Out Your Family's New Best Friend

After all of that ice skating you'll probably want to warm up, and who doesn't love sitting back and relaxing with a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate while petting some adorable cats?

That's exactly what you can do at Catsbury Park, just down Cookman Avenue.

Plus, the cats are available for adoption. So who knows, you might be going home with an extra family member on Saturday!

Grab Some Grub On The Way Out

So now that everyone is thoroughly exhausted and you're all ready to head back home to Ocean County, why not take advantage of being in Monmouth and enjoy what is in my opinion some of the best pizza at the Shore?

We've already found some of the best pizza in Ocean County, and if you ask me, Pete & Elda's is the best in Monmouth County, period!

Right on Route 35 and convenient to the Parkway, you don't have to go out of your way when you're heading out of town to enjoy their uniquely thin crusted pies.
