Toms River Woman Walks Into Intruder After Showering

Imagine exiting your bathroom after a morning shower and walking into an intruder.  That's what a 64-year-old Toms River woman experienced on frontage Road Friday morning. Police say the tall, thin, white male suspect, with brown hair and in his twenties entered the home around 11 a.m. by breaking a window on a rear door and unlocking it. He fled on foot towards Fischer Boulevard without proceeds when he was confronted by the resident.

Police say the man was wearing a black hooded jacket.

The victim was unharmed.
