Ocean Township Police have arrested two passengers of a car, including a woman who lives in Toms River after police say the  driver  ran from officers during a traffic stop in Monmouth County. Police report that an officer initiated a motor vehicle stop near Appleby Drive and Turner Avenue,  after he saw the vehicle being driven in an erratic manner. Following  a foot chase, authorities apprehended 21-year-old Christian Heuser of Philadelphia.

Police also arrested one of the car’s passengers 20-year-old Toni Koehler of Toms River.  Koehler was wanted on a previous warrant issued by Neptune Township.   Authorities say Koehler was in possession of several bags containing suspected Heroin and Cocaine.  Officials say she was also had several pills believed to be Vicodin and Oxicodone.

Both Heuser and Kohler face multiple charges. Heuser was released and awaits  a court hearing. Meanwhile, Kohler remains behind bars at the Monmount County Correctional Institution. Bail was set for her at  $2,500.
