Toms River vet dies in parkway motorcycle crash
HOLMDEL — A motorcyclist thrown from his bike on the Garden State Parkway en route to a Veterans Day ceremony has died.
Richard Noble, 71, of Toms River, died on Friday from his injuries according to New Jersey State Police Lt. Jeff Flynn, who said Noble collided with another motorcycle driven by Ivica Kesic, 47, of Edison. The crash occurred in the northbound local lanes near Exit 109 in Tinton Falls on Friday morning.
Noble was a Vietnam veteran who was on his to the Veterans Day commemoration at the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans Museum at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel according to police.
No additional information about the incident has been released at this time.
