Traditionally, trick-or-treating in Toms River happens the day before Halloween on October 30, with the massive Halloween Parade in downtown TR Halloween night, October 31. On occasion in the past, dates have changed. So let's all get on the same page for this year.

According to Toms River Police Chief Mitch Little along Mayor Tom Kelaher, trick-or-treating in Toms River will take place Sunday, October 30. 

This will allow everyone to enjoy the 76th annual Toms River Halloween Parade on the night on Monday, October 31. The rain date for the parade is November 1.
