Toms River traffic stop uncovers more than 1,000 heroin wax folds
1,192 wax folds of heroin and more than $27,000 is uncovered by Toms River police during a motor vehicle stop, according to Township authorities.
The Police Department's Special Enforcement Team was wrapping up a month long investigation into heroin distribution in the Township when officers pulled over 48-year-old Toms River resident Lisa Noumair last week, according to spokesman Ralph Stocco.
Noumair was charged with possession of heroin and possession of heroin over one half ounce with the intent to distribute.
Noumair's bail was set at $100,000 with no 10 percent.
