The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18, 2014.  It will be held at 6:00PM in the L. Manuel Hirshblond Meeting Room on the second floor of the Toms River Town Hall.  Tuesday's focus will be the Mainland Bayfront and Lagoon areas.

On Saturday, March 22, the meeting will mainly center on Pelican Island and the Barrier Islands.

"They're dealing with a lot of issues with infrastructure repairs that are ongoing right now, as well as all the damage that they had," said Assistant Township Planner Erika Stahl.  "But we'd like to know what unmet needs there still are."

That workshop will take place at 10:00AM at the Ortley Beach Moose Lodge.

The public meetings are designed to help the township pinpoint which areas of the recovery plan need to be adjusted, as well as determine possible grant eligibility.  The process itself is being funded by a $30,000 grant.
