Toms River Police Officers Receive Touching Anonymous Tribute

Sometimes it's the smallest gesture that can mean the most. And the Toms River Police Department has an awesome story to share.

In a Facebook posting earlier today, the TRPD shared a photo of a note that a pair of officers found on their car after enjoying lunch at a local restaurant.

The note reads:

Didn't want to interrupt you while you were eating but thank you for everything you do!

Sometimes, it's those little things that can make your day. And the person who wrote it clearly wasn't looking for any kind of attention in return.

What a perfect way to show those who put their lives on the line for us every day that people do notice and appreciate all that they do in our community!
