In celebration of National Dr. Suess Day all across the county books written by the famed author many classrooms were filled with members of the community reading to the kids of tomorrow.

Toms River Rookie Police Officer William Resetar stopped by East Dover Elementary School and read to the kids today.

"We heard that he was upset that he didn’t get to wear the big red and white striped hat. Oh well, there’s always next year," Toms River Police Spokesman Ralph Stocco said. "Officer Resetar had a great time with the children today."
