Toms River Man Faces Theft Charges in Three Towns

A Toms River man is accused of stealing a credit card from a Stafford Township family he was staying with and using it at a convenience store in Barnegat, according to authorities. 

Stafford police charged 22-year-old David Rivera with Credit Card Theft and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card for allegedly making unauthorized purchases at the Wawa on West Bay Avenue in Barnegat.

Rivera was arrested at Midnight on January 13 at the Sea Pine Motor Inn in Waretown.

He's free on bail while awaiting court appearances in Stafford, Barnegat and Lacey Townships.
