Toms River is getting a $6.56 million grant to be used for demolition of 150 privately-owned buildings that were destroyed by the storm.

U.S. Rep. Jon Runyan says the money will also help pay for cleanup and hauling away of rubble and construction debris.

The Ortley Beach section of Toms River was particularly hard-hit, with many residents still unable to return to their homes.

The anniversary of the storm was Tuesday.
