Toms River caps off 250th anniversary

This Friday was the time capsule ceremony wrapping up celebrations of the town's 250th year. The 225th time capsule was opened by members of the 225th Anniversary Commission from 1992, and items were placed into this year's capsule to be opened in the future. 

Students from Cedar Grove, East Dover and Hooper Avenue Elementary Schools, the Township council, Township staff, Mayor Kehaler, and member of the Semiquincentennial Committee and 225th Anniversary Commission were in attendance.
