The Toms River 30-year-old, wanted in connection with the September 22 holdup of a township Wells Fargo bank branch, was arrested by U.S. Marshals September 29, at about 2 PM, in the bathroom of a friend's apartment in Paterson, according to Toms River police.

He was charged with one count of robbery, and was sent to the Ocean County Jail, with bail set at a full $75,000.

Winiavski allegedly entered the bank on Route 37 at Vaughn Avenue at about 9 AM, took money from a teller and dashed out. Township detectives and social media followers viewing surveillance images quickly identified him, authorities said.

The arrest followed a series of interviews and surveillance operations, said TRPD spokesman Ralph Stocco, who credited the Ocean County Sheriff's CSI and Warrant officers along with the Marshals Service.
