Today is the “birth” of the Bikini

Ok...so this could be a nightmare for a lot of us.  I giggle as I write this.

Today in 46 Frenchmen Louis Reard and Jacques Heim designed the first ever bikini.  First of all, hmmmm, men designed the bikini (that's surprising.)  But hey, they're adorable.  Whenever I go shopping for a swim suit I see the bikinis.  I think to myself that would be nice.  But I'll take my one piecer, thank you!  Well sometimes a 2 piecer...with a little skirt.  Not quite the same thing as a bikini.  But I can think it is!
