Tennessee Woman Issued Summons After Being Rescued by Coast Guard
A woman from Tennessee now has a summons to remember her vacation after a harrowing rescue off Point Pleasant Beach.
According to the Asbury Park Press, 23-year-old Amy Sartor jumped off the rocks in Point Pleasant Thursday and attempted to swim to Manasquan when she got caught in a strong current.
Jenkinson's security notified police who contacted the Coast Guard. She was rescued by a Coast Guard boat at 6:09 p.m. and faces a $200 to $500 fine for misbehaving.
