Thuderstorms Could Bring Flash Floods
The threat of strong thunderstorms today has much of New Jersey under a Flash Flood Watch.
Storms are expected to form late in the morning and move towards New Jersey with the potential to drop up to an inch-and-a-half in a short period of time. In addition, some areas could get an intense storm with a 3-4 inch accumulation.
A storm on Sunday dropped 7 inches of rain in Gloucester City and 8 inches at Philadelphia International Airport.
Camden, Gloucester, Mercer, Hunterdon, Burlington, Warren, Sussex,Somerset and Salem counties are under the Flash Flood Watch starting at 10 a.m. through this evening.
