Stafford Police investigate a three vehicle collision that sent three women to the hospital Friday.

According to the Stafford Police Facebook page, the crash occurred at the intersection of Route 9 and McKinley Ave.

Police say 81 year old Little Egg Harbor resident Marie Stinson was waiting to make a left onto McKinley Ave., when 21 year old Danielle Hernandez, also of Little Egg Harbor, struck her car.

The impact from Stinson's vehicle pushed Hernandez's vehicle into a third vehicle traveling east on McKinley ready to turn right and head south on Route 9. Rosalie Sacchetti, 87, of Little Egg Harbor, was behind the wheel of the third car.  Sacchetti was checked by Stafford EMS however refused further medical treatment.

Hernandez and passenger, Gina Hernandez, 21 of Little Egg Harbor were transported to Southern Ocean Medical Center for treatment. Stinson was transported to Atlantic City Trauma Center by Stafford EMS and is currently listed as stable.

The crash is under investigation by the Stafford Police Traffic Unit. Anyone with information about the accident is being asked to call 609-597-1189 X8436.
