Two men who beat and robbed three victims in a Toms River apartment Sunday are still at large.

Township police are probing the crime that unfolded around 3:30 in the afternoon in the Villages At Bay Lea. Ryan Malletto, 25, told investigators that he responded to his doorbell and the pair barged in, indicating that they had weapons.

Malletto and two companions from Brick Township, aged 23 and 25, were attacked and robbed of 30 Roxicet tablets, a $17,000 gold necklace, and at least $400 cash, say police. They did not identify the men from Brick.

The suspects are described as black males. One is beleived to be about six feet tall, 200 pounds, with four gold teeth. He was said to be wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, sunglasses and a black baseball cap. The other is described as five feet, nine inches in height, 22 pounds, with hair styled in cornrows, wearing tan pants, tan shirt and a tan ball cap.
