Three arrestees, all between ages 20 and 22, face charges related to heroin distribution in Howell Township's Ramtown section following a lengthy probe by township police.

Andrew P. Simmons, 22, and Leighanne N. Ordner and Carlos A. Johnson, both 20, all of Howell, were apprehended Thursday after searches of three dwellings and vehicles, authorities said.

The three had been the subjects of several resident complaints, police said. The warrant searches yielded more than 60 bags of heroin, molly, alprazolam or Xanax, other prescription medicines, marijuana, syringes, digital scales, cash and other drug-related items, police said.

Officers Eric Encarnacion and TJ Hurley led the investigation, assisted by Lieutenant Thomas Rizzo, Detectives Nancy Carroll and Chris Nagy, Patrolmen Ryan Richards and Michael Pavlick, and Patrolman Nicholas Bondarew with K-9 partner Jago.
