Three arrested following narcotics investigation in Berkeley Township
Berkeley Township Detectives arrested four individuals who are charged with possible distribution of heroin in Berkeley Township.
According to police reports, the fours suspects were using Clifton Ave and Manhattan Ave in Bayville.
Police officials also seized two vehicles that were allegedly being used to distribute the narcotics.
Detectives did obtain four separate search warrants for the case.
According to police, they found a quantity of packaged heroin, narcotics packaging material, cash, marijuana and paraphernalia.
The four individuals who were arrested and charged are: John W Dames III 41 of Newark who faces a possession of marijuana charge, Ashley Duffy of 30 Clifton Ave in Bayville on charges of Conspiracy to Distribute Heroin and possession of marijuana and Mazzi Woolery 27 of Manhattan Ave on charges of Conspiracy to distribute Heroin possession of heroin and possession of marijuana.
All three were released after processing at Berkeley Police Headquarters.
Charges are accusations. Defendants are presumed innocent unless, and until, found guilty in a court of law.
