They love it so much that it took less than an hour for a New Jersey mac & cheese festival to sell out.

The Hoboken Mac & Cheese Festival 2019 was first announced just a week ago on Facebook.

Boasting almost a dozen restaurants who are planning to bring their best cheesy game on Saturday, March 23rd, festival organizers pegged today, Tuesday, January 22nd at Noon, as the on-sale date for tickets.

Noon came and the tickets went on sale.

Exactly 53 minutes later, this happened.

Yes, it took less than an hour for organizers to announce that the festival was sold out.

I think that we can confidently say that New Jersey loves its mac & cheese.

Organizers note that, you can still stop by the ticket page and hop on the wait list.

I think that this is a perfect example of just how much of an iconic comfort food a good, gooey bowl of mac & cheese can be. Just let a few frigid days go by, invite the public to stuff themselves silly with cheese and carbs, and the rest is history.
