We have a lot of, let's say, "unique" language here in The Garden State. From "Benny" to "pork roll" and "Shoobie". But there's one that stood out among the rest as uniquely Jersey.

Yes, in the state where you can't make a left hand turn on most major roads, we're all familiar with the jug handle.

But out-of-staters are almost always perplexed by the concept of having to make a right in order to make a left.

I do have to qualify this - I'm not quite sure how this got the "official" designation attached to it. I'm pretty sure there wasn't a resolution on the Statehouse floor in Trenton. But I will admit, if I had to choose, that would be right at the top of the list.
