Brandon Blair of Beachwood will soon be 18 but is unable to walk, talk or even eat on his own. His grandfather Harry Cupolo said it's because he suffers from a partial chromosome deletion disorder.

"When he was born, they told us that there was only two children (with the same disorder) In the United States that have lived past the age of 3," said Cupolo, which means, there are not a lot of charities in place to help kids like Brandon.

A golf fundraiser is being held on September 22nd at the Ocean Acres Country Club to help pay for Brandon's care. Cupolo said they raise about $8,000 through the annual golf outing and they're hoping to raise about the same amount this year.

"The money that we raise on the golf outing is used for diapers, health aids, therapy and I'd say everything that insurance doesn't cover."

Cost to participate in the golf outing is $135, which includes lunch, dinner and golf. You can also donate to the Brandon Blair Trust at P.O. Box 72, Brick Township, NJ.
