The Tootsie Roll is 119 Years Old

But it's still a great treat!  Earlier this week it celebrated it's 119th birthday!  The Tootsie Roll was introduced into the world February 23rd, 1896.  And I don't mean the dance..it's the little chocolate/sticky goodness!

It was the first wrapped penny candy!

And my favorite is the Tootsie Pop!  There are 5 original flavors of the delicious lollipop - cherry, chocolate, grape, raspberry and orange.  How many licks does it take to get to the tastiness of the middle!  I still don't know!
