One of the best parts of the late spring and summer season in Ocean County is the downtown Toms River Farmers Market. But when it opens in May, it'll be in a new location.

Previously, the market has set up shop in the parking lot on the corner of Water Street and Irons Street. But when the booths get set up this May, they'll be 0.6 miles away (yes, I actually mapped it), at the parking lot at Hadley Avenue and Washington Street.

If you think about it, it's actually a better location, with a lot more foot traffic from the Ocean County administrative complex, the library, and Toms River High School South only steps away.

The weekly market ramps up again on Wednesday, May 24th, and then runs every Wednesday through November 15th.
