So we're walking out the door this morning, my bags in hand, just like any other wonderful morning.  But this one was a little different.  We are at the door at 4:25, now that's pretty good for me...out the door earlier then usual, and all of a sudden Abs starting throwing up..everywhere.  Poor thing.Just before this happened she was talking and singing and asking for water.  Kids are amazing, I've learned so much from her in just these short 7 years.  So it leads me to what this blog is about other then our "fun" morning.  It's the throw-up pan.

When I was younger my Mom always had this horrible ugly green basin for me and my brother when we were sick.  And I always said to her, "Why do we use this when we are sick"?  She said, "Just wait til you have children you will do the same".  She was right..well she's always right.  But the bin I have for Abby is so small compared to the "big" green basin we always used.  Now I feel bad because it's only a little Tupperware bowl.

In every situation I'm in, it's those memories that I cherish and will never forget.  And the throw-up pan saves the day!

Did you have a throw-up bin/basin/pan  (I'm giggling as I write this and I'm sorry if this totally grosses you out)  Do you use one for your kids or grand-kids?
